What Is Ask OTR?

Inside OTR, you can type a plain-English question about your own data and get an answer back instantly — no digging through tables or reports. There are two "Ask" boxes right now, each living on the pages for the data it covers: Ask Settlement on the settlement pages, and Ask Trips on the trips pages.

Ask Settlement

Lives on the settlement pages. Answers questions about your settlement history — revenue, expenses, net revenue, cash flow.

Ask Trips

Lives on the trips pages. Answers questions about your trip history — counts, totals, rates, mileage.

Each box only knows about its own area — a question typed into Ask Settlement won't pull in trip data, and a question typed into Ask Trips won't pull in settlement data. Ask the right box for what you want to know.

Real Numbers, No Guessing

Every number the assistant gives you is computed directly from your real data in OTR — never estimated or guessed. If it doesn't have what it needs to answer a question, it says so plainly instead of making something up.

Relative dates work naturally in both boxes — try "this month," "last week," "in 2026," and similar phrasing.
